Barry Holt is originally from Liverpool but is now based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. With a Bachelor of Music from Otago University and a love of classical guitar, he has a deep interest in music for film and soundscape / spoken word music production.
He has performed in the UK, Australia and Aotearoa and releases original music under his own label. One reviewer described his music as ‘campfire session with a classically trained Romany traveler.’ His most recent studio album is a homage to some of the film genres and composers that have inspired him in the past.
