I first began to study the Classical Guitar while undertaking a music degree at Otago University, some 20 odd years ago. I had already been playing 12 string and electric guitars for a long time across a mixture of styles and genres, but the Classical guitar was a different challenge. A lot of what I write for this guitar, stylistically is based upon a fusion of all of these elements.
