Happy to announce the release of my new studio album, March of the Anorax to all streaming media services on 15th December 2024. I have decided to concentrate on releasing at least one album per year as I have a lot of music that I simply wish to record and get down, plus, I really enjoy the production and recording process. It’s good fun.
About the Album.
March of the Anorax is a series of tracks that I have been chipping away at for many years. With no particular purpose other than trying to bring them forward. Learning all the while as I went, the dark arts of audio production that today’s DAW’s so wonderfully afford us.
Always a big fan of music for film and genre composers, it very recently dawned on me that these tracks are my own personal way of paying homage to that, which has given me so much pleasure. From the old school monsters of “Hammer House of Horror” to the spaghetti westerns of Sergio Leone and the music of Morricone. To the brutal paganism of the “Wicker Man” to Sean Connery as the classic Bond. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, the Beauty and the Beast.
